Good Roofer in Northants?

Can anybody recommend a good roofer on Northants?

I need some slates replacing, a small area re-roofing and some bird guards putting on my chimneys.

Any recommendations for people who’ve done good work would be great.

As nobody has replied i am happy to recommend Warkton Roofing ( Kettering ) Its a fairly big company so not cheap , i dont know of any one man setups any more in the roofing trade , they are around but not used any for years . You say replace some slate , do you mean slate or tile . A picture would be good might be able to help more if i could see what you need .

Dale, it's Victorian slates so the re-roofed bit will need to be done in reclaimed slates.

OK , if you have some slate slip it is probably pointing to a larger problem like nails rusting out and replacing a few is not going be sort the problem also its not possible to re fix slate without removing a large area , they can be glued back or hung on a strap but don't pay a bandit lots of cash to push them back into position it wont last . ( Sorry if i am telling you what you already know )
For your new section don't only consider reclaim , new Spanish slate is ok and cheaper and Marshal make an Eternite slate that's a viable man made option . Hope that helps .
