Harlestone Speed Trap warning

This morning at 08:05 there was a policeman (not scamera van) parked on the A428 in Harlestone in the little lay-by at the north end of the village. He was targeting traffic heading northbound out of Northampton with a laser gun.

I did read some dribble in the local village newsletter that they were going to be targeting the A428 Harlestone to Chapel Brampton crossroads area so be careful there everybody.

(I was obviously too busy gossiping to my passenger to not spot what was at the side of the road, but I was in the middle of a line of cars).
Maybe he had gone by the time I passed.

I must add that they were on the railway bridge (to Chapel Brampton) early yesterday afternoon, so maybe watching the area at the moment?
