Cheap car wanted near Wellingborough

Further to the broken Alfa topic I started, my sister has decided just to get another car rather than fix it.
Looking for easy care! cheapy, and preferably an estate. Not asking for much??
Does anyone have or know of a road worthy family car that needs a new owner? Near to the Ock N Dough as that is her pub and is car-less so can't travel too far.

Not sure if this is any good to you but I'll soon be putting my 318 on the market (once it's MOT'd next week).

Only prob is I'm in Hartwell which is about a half-hour away...

Yes - I think it's a Golf GTTDi 150 as well!! There's also a couple of cheap Peugeots a bit closer to the roundabout.

I've got a Volvo 850 estate for sale. I'll be putting it on ebay once I have a clear week at home for the auction period. In the meantime, open to offers. 6 month MOT, silver, auto, 2.5litre 20valve. It has never let me down. Offer me a few £100 and it's yours. Location Weedon, but can meet somewhere if you are serious.

PS i have a tatty 2000 reg Audi alroad 2.7 T estate for £2.5k if thats any use. Wants a couple of minor jobs doing, but runs well. I am only 2 mins from the Ock n do

She is on a budget and says she'll need to trade the Galaxy and the Alfa if she can - also needs economy!
