What better way to commemorate the 234th anniversary of the brave pioneers of the United States liberating themselves from the clutches of those dratted colonial Brits, than to go for a drive?

Or if that's too random and spurious - what better way to begin the unofficial PH Herts/North London meet, than to go for a drive?

Start: northern Milton Keynes near the M1
End: The Cowper Arms Cole Green, Herts
When: 8.00 a.m., Sunday 4 July
How: Approx 90 miles of country lanes spanning Bucks, Beds, Cambs and Herts

Full details, and Tomtom and Garmin itinerary files, will be made available to the signup list via PM.

1. plenty - MX5
2. john3883 - Cobra

I advise you miss the Aylesbury/Leighton Buzzard and surrounding areas on your route that day, there is a large cycle event going on.

Hope you have a good un, if I don't get on the cycle event I may join you

Thanks John and great to see the Northants crew represent!

Jumplead thanks for the tip - we'll be heading northeast from the start point, so should be ok.

Hi everyone - confiming that you are all still on for this?

If yes then will pick a start point in Northants given the majority of folks are coming from this area.

Had an absolutely fantastic day today - thanks for organising it and thanks to everyone else for making it such a fun run. It was a nice blast back up the A1 at sensible speeds then a bit more fun on one of my favourite roads the B660 to kimbolton and then home.
Heres to the next one.
