Anyone in Northampton got a spare hour or so? (need a favour

Hi New to the Region having just moved back from the Alps, apologies that my 1st post in the section is asking a favour but basically getting hacked off with Allen Fords "crash repair" centre............... I mean how long does it take to estimate the cost of 2x255/40/R17s tyres and one alloy ffs!!

According to them at least 48hours!!

So, I might well do it myself!!

If I do, as I've got no car I need to;
> Get from Great Billing to Allen Fords
> Remove one wheel and grab spare
> get from Allen Fords to Tyre place (possibly Kwik Fit)
> hang around whilst they tut and sigh
> get from Tyre place back to Allen Fords.

I don't fancy doing it on the bus (if one even exists) and Taxis could be tricky with 2 wheels!

Any volunteers? (payment in a beer/beverage of your choice)
