A motorist who was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash in Leicestershire has been named as 43-year-old James Clewes, from Northampton.
Mr Clewes died following the accident in Blaby, which took place shortly after 6am on Tuesday June 8, on the A426 Blaby bypass.

His car, a green TVR Chimaera, was travelling in the southbound carriageway when it hit a tree at the side of the road.

Detective Constable Patricia Draycott, the officer investigating the incident, said: "The car was travelling towards Lutterworth when the collision happened and we are appealing for anyone with information to call us.

"We are also interested in speaking to anyone who saw the car before the collision."
