There was a camera van on the A6 this afternoon between the A14 and Finedon on the nice straight overtaking bit of the A6 Burton bypass. Luckily I was towing as this is a great spot for a bit of an 'open-up'!! I assume he'll be there more often now frown

that is my normal route to work and it is there sometimes with a officer on bikes in either direction.

This link might assist you, doesn't tell you what time of day, but at least if they're going to be about.

Thats a very common place for them to sit, and has been for years!

I must remember that next time I'm down there. IMHO they put cameras on all the safe overtaking places forcing people to slow down and overtake in less safe places!!

Something to do with all the Barry's overtaking four wide.

I wont go that way now because it pee's me off.
Prefer to trundle through Isham into Welly.

That's the stretch I got my first ticket on, must be twelve years ago or more.

I too don't use that stretch of road often nowadays.

I'm still waiting to see whether the van on the A14 at Catworth has resulted in any post for me, although it's been three weeks now. Fingers crossed and funnily enough I've been very circumspect since. It's been six years now since I had any points.
