I know I am new, and it is a bit cheeky,
but I would like a bit of help with an engine rebuild.

I should have all the bits ready in a couple of weeks, but it would be much better if I had advice from somebody who has done the bottom end before, heads are being reconditioned at the mo, I have the new rods which is all I want to change as a precaution for the power I will be running.

So specifically the bits I'm not confident about are,
- Torquing up the heads with stretch bolts and thick gaskets
- checking ware / clearance on pistons and bottom end
- Honing bores, fitting and gapping rings
- fitting shells etc

If anybody is willing to help, with advice or hands on that would be brilliant.

Please let me know,
Thanks smile

Nigel.

Might need him to help me swap an alternator first as kind of a training session.
