Vinyl Graphics Suppliers?
Discussion
Does any one know of anywhere tried and tested to produce vehicle sign writing style graphics in Northants, Wellingb area?
I used some one a while back for a vehicle (no problems) but for some reason the company I used now seem totally incapable.
I visited them in person twice, to give an exact design - so no art work required to price up!
I recently handed the the design on paper, with the exact font and size in colour etc.. exactly what I wanted,
They've sent me two quotes now, both with the wrong info/pricing, how hard can it be?
(I wish I could give up but that is not an option)
I can not believe how hard the simplest task can be!

No Matt, it does not have to be Northants!
The only trouble is my designs consist of printing on to paper, then adding the outline with coloured pen (my computer software does not seem to allow the ability to change outline of font colours nor have colour such as High vis/florescent yellow)
I have also found florescent yellow does not pick up to well on photocopies, so I guess scanning to attach to e-mail or fax is out too.
So essentially my design (words) are on paper, hard copy - I could post it, or e-mail the font then describe the out line,(either way I do not waste much more time)
I just need to get this small amount under way,
but in truth I need to find a replacement Graphics Supplier, as there will be more to follow and it will get more complicated with logo's etc..)
Any help would be appreciated

I've had work done by Sprint Graphics in Irthlingborough - quick, reasonable price, and when they cocked up one thing (put a clear layer of background in when it should have been nil background - a 50/50 blame thing as I could have made it clearer), they redid it within a day for zero charge and threw in the wrongly-done item too. Contact details at www.sprintgraphics.co.uk
That's a good few to get me started - Matt I checked out the website for the first "PH" Guy
(seems He only really likes to work with one colour?) the second I'd noticed via Google which threw up all sorts, but I'd rather stay local or stick with companies people have used!
I will look into it some more, probably Monday now during office hours.
I've created my graphic's complete with outlines in colour now - So I can e-mail the designs as crude as they are, having used normal poo word processor software.
I know some times printers with macs can not always open some types of e-mailed files so hopefully that will not be a problem!
fingers crossed might get it sorted now.
Thank's Guys!

err I think they are in black and white because they show up better on the website from the site 'COLOURS : A large range of the most popular colours are held in stock or specialist colours can be obtained within a few days'(seems He only really likes to work with one colour?) the second I'd noticed via Google which threw up all sorts, but I'd rather stay local or stick with companies people have used!
you'll probably find 90% of the PHers who sticker up their cars for Le Mans use Hollographics.
I've got a mate who races in britcar, so will find out from him who they use too if you are interested
Matt - I appreciate the Chap said he can get other colours, He displays basic colours on the website for reference only - but if he orders in special colours like high vis yellow - I would expect to pay a premium (where as most companies stock a vast range any way!)
I understand a lot of companies now print coloured out lines etc.. rather than using different layers. (I expect the first "PH" guy can probably that)
Will send some e-mails and look into it more Monday, - got to finish a job today!
(perfect weather today for working in some ones small unheated garage - knew I should have stuck with an office job)

Dan Rye [Dan.Rye@hollographics.com]Thanks Matt - so far so good!
That first reference the chap on "PH"- the one I was not sure about colours etc.. seems to be spot on! Just waiting for delivery, early next week but very good, reliable and efficiant up to now. I will use him again -
Shame about the distance between us for the odd jobs requiring design, they require a few extra e-mails but HAPPY SO FAR!
