Say 8am sharp for a 8.15am leaving at Riverside Retail Park off A45 Northampton, should get to MK by 8.45-9am- starts at 9am.

Google maps says 45 minute journey, but we can shave 10-15 minutes off that surely...

May i suggest you turn off the Newport Road at some point and cut across country to get you on the right side of MK? Either through Salcey Forest or little linford, out towards Haversham and then turn right at the old wolverton roundabout, that should put you a couple of estates across from Wymbush. Some of my favourite local roads too

The map direction thing wanted to take me that way but I am not sure about the roads that way, I am no good leading a convoy on roads I am not familiar with

I will go with majority about a route

Actually reading what you said in the other thread makes me not want to go now,

it is just going to be a nightmare fighting for spaces and getting blocked in- if it was 400 capped for definate- the original idea, then it would not be a problem, or if they were posting out tickets.

Most likely it will be 400 plus cars trying to get parked/in at the same time

Yep its touching the 400 mark already, and from what ive heard there will probably be an extra 30-40 just "turning up"

Im still up for a drive saturday and will decide then if its really worth it!

I find it difficult to believe that we would be able to fit 400 cars in their carpark anyway without double/triple parking. I'll see how this one pans out, am lucky that i'm only a mile away so will walk/cycle down.
