Since it's been a fair old while since I arranged a run out, I thought I'd have another pop at it.

The plan is to meet at Buddies in Rushden (BP A45 north- or eastbound) at about 09:00 for a leisurely breakfast and we will depart at 10:00 sharp. (Please note that if you're coming from the north, you have to go all the way to the Wellingborough A509 turnoff to make a U-turn.) Fingers crossed that the weather gives us a chance for some roof-down fun!

There will be some driving, a short T&P break, some more driving and we will finish with lunch at about 13:00 at the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar in Elton. Fish, chips and mushy peas for me, please! lick

So that I can get numbers right for the restaurant at lunch time, can you please say whether you're bringing any passengers.

Look forward to seeing you there! biggrin

Is that near Peterborough?

It is, but it is still in Northants, so you won't need your passport.

Its my trusty old westfield - its got a tuned 4.3v8 in it producing approx 280bhp - it weights just over 600kg - so power to weight about approx 500 to the ton.I know the acceleration figures but i wont post them. It was built and used for hillclimbing and sprinting and won a fair few events. It is now getting on for twenty years old but has still only covered about 11k miles as most of its early life it was trailored to events.I,ve had it about three years now and love it to bits. Its fast, more reliable than you could imagine and handles like a dream.
