How long was the waiting list to go? I've always fancied it but thought now its hyped up with general public the list would be a bit longer...?

Waited 2 years, keep mailing them every month. To be honest it was ok but not great. Had to laugh just as they started filming they ship in a load of dolly birds to stand at front so you see them on tv all the time. Its a good 6 hours and alot of swearing from Jezza, hammond and May.

I went on the waiting list near the beginning (of time?).
Nothing happened.
Re-applied every series for a while.

Managed to see a recording about 5 years ago via a friend having a ticket and not Applause. Still not heard from applause and gave up with them a couple of years ago.

2005 I and 3 other managed to get to see the show recorded. As someone said, 6 hours of bafoonery as you expect from them. Having Not to stand in certain positions was interesting, for example directly behind the couches close up, with lines marked on the floor to show you where. The fact its all in an industrial unit on an industrial estate is quite fitting too.

Tickets were not from applausestore, and got to see in the past;

Hale and Pace (Remember them)
The price is right with old Brucy
Blankity blank

All free of course, and a good night / day out.

Get yourselves on the other show listings, they are all good. IMO

I've been on the waiting list for ages, I had given up. The waitning time apparently now seems typical. Shame!
