Northampton traffic

Why has it turned so fopping busy in the last few weeks? Surely it's not additional people heading to the centre to go xmas shopping? Unless they want to buy all their presents from a pound shop, charity shop or the amusements, surely shoppers would head to MK?

My commute is taking me twice as long at the moment and I want answers. I can handle the truth.

I don't think they're heading to the town centre - I popped in there briefly this morning, managed to find a free parking space very easily and everywhere seemed very very quiet.

Ah, Wednesday - yes. It was an accident at the junction with M6 that closed the M1 south and brought it to a standstill north with the rubberneckers.

Only 4 days late... glad to report that I'm still on the ball!
