Does anything happen around here?

Hello there,
Just moved into the county and have been looking at this regions site for a few days.
Does anything ever happen?
Having had a look back over some recent posts it appears that not much goes on.
If someone could pop along and let me know if i appear to be reading the forum incorectly it would be greatly apprieciated. the only reason i ask is that i love driving my Fezza's and have been looking at other regions.

Hi

We usually have a monthly meet- first Sunday of the Month at Sywell aerodrome

Some of the Northerners used to have a Trading Post meet every Thursday night

And about once every 6 months a Northants Run which is a little nonvoy round the local roads and back to Sywell for an orange juice

Finally firesafetydave arranges hoons as well, he usually starts new threads for these, so keep an eye out

It has gone a bit quiet in here, and not many people take up on the run outs

You could always try arranging something to see what interest you get?

its a car forum I need to know what model, Im a nosey bloke.
BTW the sywell meet is in the car park just after the area with the pub (aviator?) or so I was told when I was too blind to find the right place

My observations from looking back at past threads etc.
No monthly meet for a good few months
No trading post meets for a good few months
No response to some poor old chap trying his best to stir up a bit of action.

As for the cars - i currently have a 360,612, california and have ordered a 458 italia - i love the prancing horse amongst others.

Why don't you try again

Some would probably be up for something between Xmas and New Year or in Jan depending on weather (we would!)

we are not supposed to cross post in the forums but if I put up a link in Events and Neighbouring local forums to drum up interest from people further afield, with a bit of notice and a central meeting place like J15a,
I see no reason why people would not be up for a run out to escape the family duties

I live in Nottingham, my folks are near Milton Keynes and I only need half an excuse to drive my 550, so I'd be up for something around this time - I know Sywell as I used to meet there when I had a Westfield Megabusa in my yoof!

What a collection, when does the 458 arrive? Ive heard they are being sold to customers now?
