Has anyone got any contacts in the area to get my alloys reconditioned?

3 of the 4 have a couple of curb marks from the previous owner, but im also looking into having them powder coated white / Gunmetal or possibly gloss black. Not to sure at the moment as ive not found the courage to remove the stripes!

I've used several guys before.

Silverstone Paint Technology over at Eastcote/Astcote near Rothersthorpe. They paint ome of the F1 cars, did loads recently.s

Paul Cox, who owns Panel & Paint at the Crow Lane industrial estate over towards Billing. He's the official bodyshop Guy Salmon jaguar use.

Both have offered me good deals before, think I paid about £180 cash before for a full set in metallic black. Both very good work as well.

Can second that - I used them to get mine done on the Cerb a couple of years ago and they did a fantastic job, must admit they are not the cheapest, but do a very thorough job, and when I picked them up, they supplied photos of the wheels stripped right back to show of any potential issues that might occur in the future (ie things to be aware of even though the new coatings would cover up)

They can also re-coat them in any shade you desire (and also have lots of example of different colours and how they might look to help you decide)

Thanks for the replies guys, Well im looking for white/gloss black/matt black if thats even possible?/ gunmetal and general greys.

I've got a bit of a problem at the moment with the ST that needs sorting first as something isnt right! Since sat ive been driving along and then the engine will cut out all th revs drop and get a few lights come on, only for a few seconds, then the engine kicks back in.

Its happened 6 times since sat and i have no idea what it could be, the ST owners club cant really tell me either. Its not all the time but has happened when accelerating and going over bumps, so im guessing something is loose somewhere, maf sensor checked throttle body checked.

Anyway thats for another topic...

Im thinking either removing OTT stripes and replacing with black and gloss black alloy or white alloys, or grey side stripes and gunmetal alloys: Hmmmm

I vote white alloys, although I normally prefer black, the white goes well with the rest of the car.

(and keep the stripe)

I'd go for anthracite/black alloys, white looks the muts nuts, but not on a white car IMHO

I think the Blue Side stripe [or black/grey depending if i change it] will break the whiteness up a bit.

Its in Fords tomorrow anyway to see whats wrong with it!!

Go to the place in Melton. They have a large selection of wheel styles and colours that you can lean up against your car to help you choose your finish. I found it really useful when getting mine done.

And a fourth from me. They did a great job of refurbing and a colour change from silver to black on a set of BBS alloys a mate has on his 911.
