Crackers?

Anyone else go to Crackers on Saturday night in Delapre Abbey?
Took the kids along on and was a bit shocked to say the least

was this the fireworks thing? i heard about it briefly through a friend. didnt see it advertised anywhere though.

Yep the fire work thing. Some bird on top of a tower spouted some poetry then got her kit off before the fireworks.

Wasn't too impressed as I had a 5 and an 8 year old with me.

Yes we went.
Walked three miles to get there
and three miles back.
Was most upset.
got there on time but wouldnt let us in to main arena.
husband was discusted.
A fight nearly broke out as police would not let anyone passed entrance and into main arena.
Fireworks o.k. But have seen better
Yet again we see Northampton Council could not organise a P!!! up in a Brewery.

I saw a poster advertising this on the junction near Becketts Park, but couldn't quite read all the info - thought about taking the kids along as it looked like fireworks - glad I didn't now ! What was it supposed to be about/for ?
