Can anybody recommend a tiler and plumber in Northants?

I need a shower room re-tiling and a shower, shower tray and shower door fitting. I have all the parts and tiles I just need somebody to do the work. It’s nothing complicated and would probably would take a competent person about 2 days.

I’ve tried a two tilers/plumbers; one came out to quote but despite chasing hasn’t come up with a price, the other keeps cancelling coming out to quote. Do these guys just not want the work or something?!?

Does anybody have any recommendations for somebody reliable?

We had a really good guy in to do our bathroom, just a one man job I think. His name was Paul and I think his van had 'FXN' on it, however I'm at a loss as to where his number is now... I'll try and dig it up in the morning if I can!

Right, found the number, Paul's a really nice guy, well into his cars and all that too, has a 911 I think.

Sorry, I just read this thread out of curiousity and as soon as I saw this bloke had a 911, I had to have a chuckle when you then said he's not really cheap! I prefer tradesmen that turn-up in battered old work vans, haha.

Its the sort of thing i do but am bizzy for quite a while , you could mail me some pics and i could give you some idea on price .

Ah it's more of a 'you pays your money' scenario though I reckon. He did a tremendous job on our new bathroom, and any problems we have he comes back and fixes them for free!
