Is it the Northampton meet at Sywell this Sunday?

If so, is anyone going to be there?

If you fancy a bit of fun before, or after the Sywell meet then:

Rockingham Classics garage at Great Oxendon near Market Harborough have organised a wonderfully relaxed and friendly day and will have a treasure hunt for Classic and Sports cars from 10:00am, BBQ in the afternoon from around 2pm, and test rides/drives available all day.

The Sporting Bears will be offering Dream Rides in a selection of classic cars. Plus a ride out for Royal Enfield Motorcycles at 10:00am. Proceeds from the treasure hunt and BBQ to the Sporting Bears charity. Contact Mark Hemingway

you must have dreamt that bit Alan

but I'm sure if someone has an interest in a car the owner would take them for a short ride (not wanting to miss the cakes)

Yes Dave why aren't you bringing your family to this ideal in a Landie, see the clues easier

Steady on Nigel! NO dreaming going on here matey. I took the above text directly from http://www.classic-car-shows.co.uk/Rockingham-clas... . Have a look if you don't believe me.

I removed you name and telephone number but I think that's all I edited.

Don't know who gave them the info. Mark perhaps? Or maybe someone just assumed the SBs would be doing their thing as generally they are the beneficiaries of the money raised.

I didn't read as far as that until I saw this, I've never organished a SBDR

Advertising is always a bit loose for this (Mark's) event

SBDR take a lot of organising, planning and paperwork and are not loose or done on the spur of the moment, this is simply a mistake - but not yours Alan

No one hurt and it'll be a good day anyway (so Chim or Benson then?)

Apology accepted wink

N ot sure if it'll be P5 or Chim yet.

If the weather is like today I'd like to take the Chim but I may have more than one pax & if so then the decision will be made for me.

The trasure hunt may not be what you think. More of an observation run really. In any case, you don't have to look for the clues, just follow the directions

You can have a sniff around the classic cars and bikes that Mark has in stock and get a nice cuppa and a bacon roll.

Come on Steve, you know you want to. Haven't seen you for a while. Make hay while the sun shines. Or maybe not in your case wink

Sorry to hear that Steve. Our GSD hasn't had much of an appetite in this warm weather either. I hope that's all it is.
