Just had the back wing of the car scraped.

Can any one recommend a spray shop in the above area that has knowledge of fibre glass and TVR's?

Another place a little out of your area is http://www.silverstonepaint.co.uk/ I have used them and cannot recommend them highly enough. They're just north of Towcester.

Try the Garage Recommendations at the top of the page if you're stuck...

I'm biased - but I've used

Paint Tec, Northampton - 01604 864900 - Based between Roade & Blisworth
Car body repair and painting

Good luck smile

Another vote for Paint Tec - they did a top notch job on my Corvette (also fibreglass).

Elite Body Shop in Northampton. Worth the extra travel. Done some excellent work for me in the past.

Thanks for your suggestions, will be going to see Silverstone and Paint Tec later in the week. Both sounded very helpful / knowledgeable on the phone.

Not saying they don't do quality work, but I had an estimate from Elite years ago and their prices were ridiculous, IMO. Got the job done by a rather less prestigious outfit in the end, who did a great job at, literally, a fraction of the price.

Personally, I shop-around on price, ask to see examples of their work and make it clear what I want (ie. an invisible 'good as factory' repair) and won't accept anything less. The price differentials between bodyshops is similar to insurance (ie. massive).

Of course, if money is no object, then none of this applies... I'd goto the place with the comfiest leather sofa and the best cappuccinos!

Try Dave Knight at Merlin Bodycraft in Brackley. Mate of mine but has had TVRs and kit cars as well as working on all sorts of motors.
