Hi all. SWMBO is a mature student at one of the local colleges (I won't name which one). She has to take her laptop into college on a regular basis, but the college have now decided that nothing is to be connected to their 240v supply unless it has a current portable appliance test sticker.

It is only the PSU that needs doing, and as it is a class 2 item the test should be straight forwards. What I am looking for is someone willing to do this for either mates rates, or a sensible price for a 'one-off' job. Having done PAT testing in my former life, I know that the only profit to be made is in high volume throughput, so most places either won't touch one offs, or want silly money.

Any suggestions?

No comment on above Dave but I think you'll need three labels Jon

one for PSU

one for laptop

one for power supply lead (to PSU)

that's the way the Big Man would charge for it !

I have a tester here you can use and do it yourself!

No charge, just bring it back!
