Folks

I have been asked if I can take my Tuscan to church on Saturday 16th May - and could I bring some friends ! It's time for local Pistonheads to show their faces !

St Matthews Church, on the Kettering Road opposite Kingsly Park Terrace, is having a flower and Classic Car (?) festival in aid of the Cynthia Spencer Hospice and Water Aid on Saturday 16th May. There will be tea, coffee, light lunches and cream teas to snack on as well as a selection of classic and other cars on the green behind the church. (you can look at flowers in the church if you like as well).

I will stay all day if anyone wants to leave their cars and come back for them later in the day and will keep an eye on - or if you can only spare a hour in the afternoon for a cream tea, then any time would be gratefully received. The nominal time is 1000hrs till 1600hrs but I am sure that everyone will be happy with whatever time people can give.

If you can then please add your name below so that I have some idea of numbers - I'll start !

I know what you mean - it's going to read "Classic and Sports Cars" from now one.

I should have mentioned that there is a perfectly good pub across teh road with big screen sports in case you're missing anything.

In that case count me out!

Well. I'll still come along if you're buying the cream teas!

Bike engined 7 allowed in? If so, and assuming I've not sold it, I'll be along.

Any chance of a map/postcode or something, as I'm only half way sure of where you mean.

Just bring yourself dear - that will be more than enough to get me to buy you a cream tea !

Penny

Both would be great if you can spare the time etc.

Simon

It's Saturday not Sunday (sorry for the confusion on FB). AM preferred, both would be fantastic.
