In the annual tradition of.....

Brimstone butterfly and some HUGE bumble bees in the garden today.

Not local, but a Sand Martin was reported in West Sussex today.


Also seen a few Daffs in flower.

Yep, just been out on my delivery round and saw daffs in flower, one very large but lethargic bumble bee and the local colard doves and wood pigeons are getting quite friendle with one another.

saw a green woodpecker, and a grass snake (never seen a wild snake in the UK before) yesterday down by the white water rafting place in Northampton

Gah, I went out into the wood near work in the hope of hearing one - always good to beat Central to a Chiff-chaff tongue out
