Monkfish are a bit out the way for such a generic job though, TBH. I'm gonna get a price from Tyres Northampton, as they're a well-sorted outfit and just round the corner from me, but I suspect they're going to ask top dollar for an alignment (like £150 territory). We'll see.
Anyone else with first-hand experience and a price?

Can anyone recommend a place in Northampton for a 4 wheel alignment? Prices would be good, too, as they tend to be all over the shop. FWIW, the car is a Corvette C6.
Cheers,
Ian.
I used northampton motorsport before, did a pretty good jobCheers,
Ian.

To be honest, yes. Wheel alignment to factory specs isn't rocket science, so hoping I can find somewhere local that don't charge silly money and do a good job! Cheers.Tyres Northants behind Halfords do a good job, used them many times.. with great results on my Q7 and Phaeton recently
I guess it's commonplace nowadays but their computer system has settings for pretty much every vehicle and shows how to adjust it.

Tyres Northampton is the place I already had it in my head I was probably going to wind-up at... they're 2 minutes away from me. Just wondered if anyone had tried anywhere else in Northampton that might be a good alternative (and probably cheaper). Had the car done at Tyres Northampton this afternoon. Not quite as expensive as I thought... £100 all-in. However, considering it only took them 30 minutes from start to finish, that's not a bad labour rate! Their alignment rig looks v.expensive though, so I guess they do need to factor that into the cost. Chap who did it was extremely knowledgeable. They didn't get the car aligned EXACTLY to the figures I provided, but close enough. They were also very, very busy!
IT Consultant moans about labour costs!
The equipment is expensive and perhaps it has to be maintained IT wise too
On some vehicles it's not possible to get to the factory spec (the factory can't usually manage to get even close on some cars) and the factory spec isn't always most suitable for your use
Perhaps you had your own figures
However no matter how busy they were they should explain why they've not to your figures - go back and have a word with the guy that done the work, if you're not happy tell them so
How's the condition of your suspension and tyres, sometimes it's not the guy spannering up that's the problem but the car and/or its owner
Seriously - if you're not happy go back and see the guy that done the work for an explanation - usually that type of work is well worth the money
TN are also very good for high performance tyres but I'm sure they could find you some more reasonably priced retreads and remoulds
