At Christmas I put up a thread about borrowing an engine crane to put the engine in my 205, and sure enough a fellow PH'er in the area came through and sorted me out (Many thanks Snake) However, now I am moving house in 3 weeks about 1.5 miles away, and the 205 is still not moving under its own power, so here is my plea-

An hour of somebody's time with a trailer and a tow car to pull the car across town for me on either the Friday Afternoon or during the weekend. I am willing to pay a fair price for the service as it would be a massive help. Failing this I will just pay some recovery company 60 odd quid to move it, but i figured it would be worth asking here first!

Many Thanks

Jay,

Will it roll? if so I can tow it in one of the jeeps if you want, don't have a trailer unfortunately. It'd have to be a weekend/preferably a sunday morning

Ollie, there may be insurance issues there as while its legal to tow a disabled car I think it may need to be insured.

It will be rolling by then, but that is all, unfortunately it won't even have foot brake operation so only an A-frame or solid towbar would be suitable, and then as mentioned the lack of tax and insurance could be an issue. I will look into it though, thanks!

Does it fit on a Brian James Minno? Max weight 750kg. What's the width?
