Pigeon Shooting

Hi all, I am looking for land to shoot wood pigeon in the northamptonshire area. I am an experienced shot and have my own gundog. Can anyone help? Regards Rob

Where in northants? It's a big place! I could ask around, but it would only be the area south of Davnetry, if I can find anything.

I live in great houghton 4 miles from northampton, daventry is not far from me would be keen to shoot there if you can find some land, regards

another thing you could try is if there are any farms near you give them a ring because a lot of farmers are quite happy to let people shoot on there land because it helps them out and there even happier if you give them a few of the birds at the end of the day.

Is it just wood pigeon you're after, or would it be with an eye to other birds/rabbits etc?
