Car stolen from roadside helper
A woman who stopped to offer assistance after a road accident in Northamptonshire had her car stolen by the two men she tried to help.

The 60-year-old was driving along Welford Road in Spratton in the early hours of Sunday when she saw a Vauxhall Corsa which had left the road.

She stopped to help but the men in the car, which turned out to be stolen, then stole her Peugeot 206.

Northamptonshire Police appealed for witnesses to come forward.

"Early hours of Sunday morning" - if this was at night I wouldn't have stopped.

We get too many calls like this, it's such a shame.
