Big girl, I've just taxed the toy car for the winter. You know there'll be a few nice dry clear days where you'll be all annoyed it's SORN'd. The only reason I didn't go out earlier was because it was 4 degrees. And I don't have a roof, windows or a heater. wink

Just had to scrape a thick layer of ice off the car. The Tiv will be getting put under its blanket for the winter shortly, wont be SORNing it though.

If you use it regularly (at least a reasonable run once every 2-3 weeks) over the winter you'll learn to drive the Tiv even better

If you don't you might (only might) discover why cars can become less reliable

People (t-t) who SORN their cars (or don't use them sometimes) over winter miss many fabulous driving opportunities

idea Thinking about it the more who SORN over winter the more the roads are available for fun for the rest of us - go ahead and keep off the roads in winter I'll let you know about all the times you missed out on, I'm very obliging that way biglaugh

Sometimes there are other reasons and greater priorties that make SORN the most viable option. If you lnow what I mean. smile

Well I hope we use the elise more over the winter than we did in the summer, I do beleive we only did 3000 miles from one insurance renewal to the other, lets hope for a dryish winter smile

Exactly the reason why it's not getting put on SORN Nigel.

O/T: Are you needing any more people for Dream Rides at the Classic? If so drop me a mail, I'm around on the Saturday.

Central can send off a flare or 2. We can follow the smoke and bright lights.

I've been working outside in a T shirt all day, so it can't be that cold out there.
