Unfortunately I can't make this but in case anyone else is interested there looks to be quite a good classic car gathering over at Uppingham tomorrow.

Looks like its a complete family day out with lots of events including music, art displays, model railways, dinky car collecton and sketeboarding demos.

Email coordinator to dispaly cars: rons@clara.net

Can't see a website but this is being organised by Uppingham Rotary Club so should be good.

Suppose I'd better add a cautionary note about the potential dangers before I get someone saying that skateboarding demos can be dangerous etc wink

Me and 'her indoors' are having a look at this tomorrow if the weather behaves. Haven't booked the \Vette in though, so I,ll just turn up and see.

Well, quite a nice selection of cars there yesterday. I wasn't prebooked to show the Vette but was ushered into the High Street when I arrived, so I got to show her after all. The only down side was the lack of other things going on. I was under the impression that most of the trders in the town would be open, but this was far from the truth. We didn,t stay until the end as we had run out of things to do.

Only stayed for an hour but some nice motors there and a friendly vibe. What was the story with the 2.0S Capris next to you Ian... someone graft a twin cam head onto it or has it had a motor transplant?

Now you,ve got me ! Must admit I hadn't really paid a lot of attention to the Capri, so didn,t notice it wasn't stock.
