I've not even got much stuff to do outside, and I'm still sat here getting more and more bored. I've even rustled up the energy to do all the washing up from tonight. Looks like I won't be at the meet this weekend in the kit car if this keeps up, so I don't feel too bad about not fixing my lights and indicators yet.

Thats a pity , talking of bike engined sevens had a ride(more like a hell raising blast ) in a caterham blackird on Thurs evening , no roof/screen , the owner doesn't care a damn if its raining just puts crash hat on and toneau cover when the beast is stationary , hell of a car !

Blimey, that's quite a rare car, they only made a few! They are meant to be a whole level or two of mad above things like mine due to weighing about 100kg+ less than mine. If it does stop raining, then I may well make it. I don't enjoy driving mine in the rain at all, there's just too much wheel spin and slip going on for my liking on the roads.

Good to hear that Simon , yes the cat. blackbird is rare either 8 or 9 built this one only just been bought by owner , I wouldn't say no except for the fragility of the bike engine in a car , ie he has a spare engine ready .

I'm the same, I have a spare sat in the garage just in case. But replacing the old engine only cost me £433 so it's not much bother. If you have one ready, you can change them over inside a few hours.
