The Malt Shovel meeting??

Fairly new to the forum and thinking of starting coming to a few meets in Northampton.

Used to go to to the Scooby meet but that appears to have disbanded now. Me and my blokey are always looking for likeminded car lovers to have a natter and a beer with and I noticed you guys sometimes go to the Malt Shovel which just happens to be a favourite haunt of ours.

Is this a regular meet or just a random thing? Is it best to come to the Sywell meet first and get to know some faces?

The Malt Shovel or Picturedrome meeting is boys/children only (About twice a year us girls are invited).

Just keep your eyes open for other gatherings here or you could arrange a pub meet for everyone.

How is that fair? My head isn't full of shopping and fluffy kittens - I do know about cars!

Because they don't talk about cars (I am guessing rude jokes and girls) and some get very drunk.

p.s. you will find at least 3 PH girlies very close by if you think it is worth us invading the boys camp.

Am also not a raging feminist either!!! And I'm fairly sure that getting drunk was not exclusive to boys last time I checked! I think us girls could show them a thing or two!

nah, I use Star they're only around the corner and I pay for my lift
I also don't recall anyone ever saying that it's blokes only, you have a ladies meet on ph that men aren't allowed to go to.
this isn't even a PH meet, it's not advertised on here every week, its just a group of mates that meet for a beer on a wednesday night

.......actually I was only talking about my style.....some of the others are frankly way to ugly to have any real style....
