Chance for Vulcan spot late on Thursday

THe Vulcan is leaving Waddington at 5.15 this afternoon to fly to RAF Benson (going on to Cowes).
This means the flight path will go right through Northants.

Please see the map as a rough guide to the route.

If XH558 leaves on time, then some of you will spot it on the way home.

It will do the return journey tonight arriving back at Waddington approx 7pm, so you may have the chance for another glimpse.

just had a very loud very low flyover in thrapston, shook my damn office lol ... cloud cover was to dense to see what it plane it was..

I think that was the Red Arrows (girls near the window at work spotted a formation), I just heard the loud noise.

Do you have any more information on that? We just saw what appeared to be a Vulcan flying overhead fairly slowly.
