Does anyone use a nice dentist who is actually taking patients?

I changed my dentist at the end of last year as the 200 mile round trip I had been doing for the previous 6 years was a bit silly.

I changed to a dentist locally but don't like it.

They seem to have quite a few dentists working there, they seem pretty good. Not sure whether they're accepting new patients at the moment.

The PCT should know who's taking on patients: 0800 5870 879. The Elms practice (near the hospital) have a very good reputation within the profession.

Oradi on Park Street, Wellingborough are pretty good. Sympathetic, good with nervous patients (ie me),

You can do a dentist search in your area, then click on each surgery this will inform you if they are/are not taking on new NHS patients. That's how I located our dentist & also our doctors.

I landed up using Weston Favel as I got shortlisted through a work colleague. The best dentist I've been to in the UK.
I had a very scary experience in Leicester not long ago so have resorted to travel to Weston Favel for the exceptional practice... only thing is I can't remember his name right now...
