I was at Bruntingthorpe today to see her fly.... Some pics i took...

Taxiing down to the end of the runway...

Off we go.....

Nosewheel in the air....

And off she goes....!!

Return from test flight

Bomb doors starting to open

And fully open!!

Banking round to start landing sequence...

Almost down....

Saw her fly over Harborough today. A neighbour said she went over twice and one pass she was accompanied by a smaller aircraft (taking pics perhaps?)

On my way down from Leicester on the M1 just after 14:00 and saw it to the left. It banked round, don't know if it was landing or taking off. Fantastic sight though.

Really please they've got this flying again. I remember the disappointment last year when it was unable to to fly over because of debris in the filters, the chaps on the Vulcan stand were very worried that it may never fly again so hat's to everyone concerned for achieving this.

Had an interesting and purely coincidental day at Bruntinthorpe yesterday with my old TVR doing an article for "Classic Cars" magazine. Spent most of morning parked on the apron next to the Vulcan. Got some reasonable pics and would put them on if I knew how (its an age thing). Rather than repeat myself there are a few more details on the TVR spotted threads, see mr chips and combine,s postings sTeVeR

Flew over my house (slowly) @ roughly 1000ft sat afternoon; fantastic sight!

I used to work with the guy who flew one of these to bomb Stanley runway, ironically I now fly to Mount Pleasant....
