I filled half my tank with diesel a couple of days ago from the BP garage outside Raunds and my car has been weird since. Suddenly stops revving and / or won't accelerate for a few seconds while I'm driving along. It's not causing too much of a problem so far, just a bit annoying and I'm hoping it won't continue. But somebody told me that sometimes dodgy fuel causes this.

Does anyone on here know much about the sort of problem I'm describing or have heard of any similar story recently regarding fuel from the garage in question?

And before anyone asks - yes, my car is supposed to have diesel in it!

Um..... scratchchin

I'll check my service history and see if it says in there whether it's ever been changed.

I had this from the same garage a few months back and the car was just like it was missing and running on 3 cylinders, we checked the reciept just to make sure we hadnt put petrol in and it was 100% DIESEL.
Then the car still wouldnt run right and we took it to the garage and they discovered petrol in the tank!!!

Tha garage wouldnt help and didnt want to...

It was a hire car so i never found out the result.... but i know i didnt have to pay...
