Fitting a new stereo

Can anyone recommend somewhere in Northampton where I can get my new head unit fitted Please ?

DIY if it's just a head unit, connectors are all standard these days.
Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes tops.
(If Halfords do free fitting it must be easy).

I took the old one out and the connector on the old one is nothing like the new one, and there are all sorts of bits of electrical string that don't seem to have things on the end of them. Geerally I would have a go but there doesn't seem much poit i screwig something up when I could get it done properly (for a change).

You can get conversion adaptors from Halfords - converts from 'car make' to 'decent sound make'

I fitted a Sony head unit to my Ford years ago & used one - cost about £5 back then - but was an easy DIY application.

is this in the tuscan? i heard they had differant connectors to other types of units

Halfords couldn't do my Cerbera.....

took it to a chap today up in Gloucester Avenue and he had a look and said the following:

The Tuscan is standard sockets and loom
The head unit did not come with the standard connector because it has come from Hong Kong
He has ordered me a connector for £30 which will arrive in the next couple of days
When I have the connector even a muppet could fit it (apparently !)
He said I can plug it in at his shop and if he's wrong then he'll help me for nothing !

Can't say fairer than that !

I'll let you know just how stupid I am when the connector thingy arrives !
