Just had a call from my local landlord, advising should i have the urge to stop off for a pint on the way home the local will be closed and access to regulars only via the back door.
Police have advised them that around 1000 of the 'loveable rogues' have descended on Kettering for a funeral.
Even got special rapid response numbers for the BiB, (bet they aren't too rapid if a thousand of the feckers start fighting though).

Somehow i don't think i'll be having a beer tonight!

Funeral was yesterday.

MASSIVE traffic jam outside Kettering Catholic Church, and I was lucky enough to get caught up in it.

Dozens of top-of-the-morning-we'll-tarmac-yer-drive-so-it-is-at-all-at-all pickup trucks in attendance.
