Well done Alan your info was 10 minutes ahead of BBC 24 News who made a quick sober annoucement after the headlines

And you were 13 minutes ahead of Sky News 24 who have have been floundering and "bigging" the story for half an hour up with viewers phoning in whilst the news crew check for their elbows - I think this is what is meant by tabliod journalism

edited to make more sense - I should have been a journalism making that number of errors

I feel ashamed now... I heard and felt it whilst lying in bed but just assumed it was the fat couple next door making a (big) beast with one back laugh

Was felt hear in Desborough, bizarrly i was woken by car alarms going off before the actual tremor.
Even more strangely neither my nor my neighbours dogs were barking.
(Though Harry kindly reacted by peeing on the kitchen floor!)

It was later here because it had to go round Northampton's three quarters ring road (Boughton residents far too wealthy to allow a ring road near their expensive land)

Leave Boughton alone.

Anyway, here is a quote from the youngest girl at work
'I thought it might be an earthquake, but the wind wasn't blowing the trees, so I thought it was something else'

There's a whole load of remarks on a P&P thread

Sky News 24 phone in "there was a whoosh of air up the chimney" ? ? . . . "some people had soot on their carpets"

Amazing and frightening to think what some people would think and do if there was a real disaster rolleyes

Wow, you know how to spy on your neighbours

Sorry I couldn't make out your car but there again I'm not a 100% sure which car is on our hardstanding

Difficult to date the views but they certainly look more up to date than Google Earth and that bird's eye view is great fun

Thanks

I think the village shots are from last summer, rotating the view gives nosey people like me even more info, have you tried that?

Here is my car.

(Maybe we should have a new thread of 'spot your car')

Blimey, I almost put is that your house with the dozen cars ! and it is (still don't recognise it as your car)

I thouught the arrow may have wandered off location

Oh yes I've tried the rotating the view, I've even looked for a device to draw back the cutains

On this and GE I can't make out which car is on my 'drive' to date the shot
