Ok, but the 'offending' post has now been removed. What was up with it?

Oh, God forbid! Geez, the World has gone PC bloody mad!

For the record, I drive a 385bhp Ferrari 355 and a 400bhp Corvette C6 purely to drive at the speed limit and not 1mph over it! Even when it would be reasonably safe to do so, I would never dream of exceeding the statutory speed limit. That includes Motorway matrix signs... although I sometimes feel silly driving at 40mph when everyone around me is whizzing past, flashing their headlights and waving their fists.

Remember folks, speed kills. We need more speed enforcement measures in this country.

biggrin

Cheers,
Ian.

Well I hit an indicated 80 mph there in the Midget but the speedo is inaccurate so I might have been doing 100 mph but it is more likely I was doing 60 mph

I wish they would put a Speed Camera there so that despite the signs showing national speed limit everyone brakes to 40 mph just like up the road past Lamport grumpy

Mind you fabulous to look in the rear view mirror to see the idiots flash you as you overtake them at 55 mph at that Speed Camera lines (it's downhill so the Midget can do it)

Edited as I had to correct the village - see below

If you're doing 55 at Kelmarsh you're in trouble... 55 downhill at Lamport's OK though ;-)

Quite right too

Boughton, so I'm told, is some of the most expensive land per square foot in the whole country (I can't understamd it, right next to an industrial estate)

Boughton avoided the Northamton ring round leaving it as a three quarters ring road

I often push oil spilling cars thro' there

Who owns that "Manor" house that nearing completion then they most have some interesting vehicles?

Shame I was hoping to see some caravans at the side and horses at the front

Perhaps I'll see some intersting old commercial vehicles then, I don't think there'e enough room left for a helipad

No. HTH

Especially if you remember it in its pre-Everards, 'sample 9' tray days.
