50 quid seems a bit steep for something like that IMHO (expects to get shot down in flames now hehe)
Di and I decided we wouldn't bother with anything this year, probably just have a bottle of champers on the flight out on Thursday biggrin

I think the real thing is a sweeter idea, along with some love hearts.

The silver one might end up in a cupboard.

you could always buy him something that he would use rather than a gimick type thing

Mrs TT and I agreed not to buy each other anything but she has dropped a big hint about the Ratatouille DVD so I dropped a hint about storage boxes for the new garage that are on offer in Aldi. hehe

I am not buying a gift (as he is giving himself a big present the day after).

My ideas:
Tickets to a show
Your favourite chocolates
Make a voucher offering a free favour

There is even a valentine website of ideas http://www.valentinesgifts.co.uk/
