Northampton to Stansted route?
Discussion
I have to make a trip to Stansted airport soon and will need to arrive at 7.30am.
I know the A14 can be bad in places during the rush hour but I don't know where.
Guessing I have to leave approx 5.30am, will the A14 and M1 be reasonable or would minor roads be better?
Thanks
(sorry I did mean M11)

Alternatively, and for a nice drive, pick up the B645 from Higham Ferrers (off the A45 at Rushden) and follow to St Neots via Kimbolton (fast swoopy road beloved by bikers)
) it is a fantastic hooning road
New job then Gary, no more lugaburuga

Looks interesting.. How long does that take? Got a few trips in the next month or so and am trying to avoid anything that involves the M1/25..

Or as an alternative.....at St Neots pick up the B1046 to J12 of the M11....twisty stuff compared to B645, but SOOOOO much better than A428. Go on, go on, go on.
