. . . an S1 Exige this morning smile to replace my S2 Exige and Westfield which were both recently sold.

Its a mint 51 reg that was the last one manufactured. Chassis number 601 of 601.

Should pick it up in the next week or so. Can't wait.

Cheers,

Si

Yes it is a red one. I have to say it looks so much better in the flesh, and it is in truly mint condition for an S1.

I don't pick the car up for a week or so. But when the weather is good i'd gladly take you for a spin.

Congrats on your new toy! I used to have a S1 Exige too, in black and 192hp spec. It was also De-catted which made it really sound nice!

Hope you have loads of fun.

Simon, how is the S1 Exige comparing to your S2?

As much as I adore the purity of the S1 Exige, I fancy taking the sports car on a few European trips and the S2 practicality is appealing. That said, it wont be a daily runner as me and the g/f each have a daily car...

I'm very happy with it. Haven't driven it much to be honest as I'm already upgrading the brakes. The only negative regarding any euro travelling is that it doesn't have much of a boot. But i beleive that many people have had boots fabricated.

S2 was very practical but also not special enough for me to keep as a toy. The poor power delivery of the NA toyota was starting to niggle me and i craved more performance. Thats why I'm upgrading the brakes before i start an engine conversion!

When they stop gritting the roads i'll bring it to a sywel meet and you'd be welcome to have a nose around it.
