Hi Guys,

Some of you will know I've been lurking around here for a while, and met up with some of you last year at a Sywell meet.

Apologies for not being more active on here, but things have been mad for the past 8 months at work.

Well, big changes for me, I gave up my job on Friday (including company car!) and start my dream job tomorrow. It's a place you all know well - yes it's Sywell Aerodrome! I'm going to be their Financial Controller, looking after all the businesses within the group. I'm really excited as I've always been interested in aviation.

Bought a little Pug 206 GTI (diesel) as the workhorse so I'm all ready to go.

Our aim is to have more time and to enjoy life more, something which hasn't been happening over the past few years really.

I guess I'll be seeing more of you all now!

ATB

Congratulations on the new job and that sounds like a good move... far more to life than corporate greasy pole climbing. Good luck smile

Haven't met him yet!

Quite a good day all in all. Loads of interesting things to see, and plenty to get my teeth into.

Roll on the summer when the planes start rolling in.

Sure will! Don't think they were too happy though today - Aerodrome closed with the weather...

Still good news at the moment, but it could still be overturned. Just a few weeks of nailbiting to go!
