Lotus Diagnostic

Hello...
"Some" issues with the Exige at the moment....does anyone know where I can take it to plug it into a diagnostics machine (technical me!!) in the Northampton area....and no I dont mean the MK dealer who I wouldnt trust with a..... shall say no more!

Is your MIL light coming on then? Most good garages or even the AA could tell you what the code is (your probably still got AA if your've covered by the warranty).

Mine was playing up a few months ago with the MIL light coming on, and turns out that water had corroded one of the coil terminals and the car detected a misfire (was really small because i couldn't notice a thing). Coil was replaced under warranty.

I always use Nick Whale in Bromsgrove for servicing (I purchased the car there too which helps). Its an hour away for me but the nearest Lotus dealer that i can trust. I've have bad experiences with Leicester and as MK are the same franchise i've stayed clear. If your out of warranty then i would go to http://www.brooke-kensington.co.uk or http://www.guglielmimotorsport.co.uk

Guglielmi have had a look and its going in for the work next week.....not cheap though, although can't blame that one on Steve, bloody price of Lotus parts and front clam removals!!!

Saturday morning...for a week!!! Got some stone chips to get removed too and Steve "knows a man"!!!
