Lucky escape.

I expect a few of you near Northampton know this road pretty well.
Also near the site of the fatal Scooby crash.

Is this road now going to be speed restricted (Ihope not)?

was very lucky that the train didn't hit them,

Very lucky indeed, Obes mentioned tonight that he had seen a TV crew down by the railway. So thats what it was all about!

Glad the PHer involved is alive & well.

At least I know why my train was cancelled and I was late for work... hehe

I would think his insurance company aren't having a good day either!
Hate to think how much the train companies and Network Rail will sting them for.

From the BBC website a policeman quoted "If the train had come along it would have hit it and there would have been a serious accident." Good to see they're still taking their daily dose of 'stating the bl**din' obvious tablets'.....

Glad the driver is ok :-)
