British Cars Enthusiasts Rally 2007 Sunday 09/09/2007
The brit-cars.com British Cars Enthusiasts Rally 2007 will be held at Wicksteed Park, Northamptonshire on the Sunday 9th September.
We will once again be using the event to support Make-A-Wish Foundation (UK) and hope to beat last years total of over £800 raised. Since 1980, Make-A-Wish Foundation (UK) has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work.

2006 saw the attendance of over 80 cars from MG, TVR, Lotus and many others, with Wicksteed Park in Kettering proving to be a popular location combining a relaxed family friendly atmosphere with plenty of space and enough to keep even the biggest kids happy while parents did 'car stuff'. We were joined on the day by two ‘wish children’, who helped judge the Pride of Ownership competition and draw the raffle. Both children were a real credit to their families, and we hope to be able to entertain some more wish children this year. A full review of the day was published on the brit-cars.com website.
Entrance to Wicksteed is £6 per car, which will need to be paid at the main gate on the day. Once inside the park, access to the rally field is included and signs will be erected to direct drivers to the field.
The event is open to all marques with a British Heritage including Aston Martin, Caterham, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lotus, Mini, MG, Morgan, Morris, Noble, Riley, Rover, Triumph, TVR, Wolseley or any other. All are welcome either as clubs or individuals. Club stands can be arranged if requested.

Bump!
I am hoping to be there with the Rover if I can get the gearbox back in on time. If not will be the TVR.
Ater the show I and one or 2 others will be taking a drive over to Lubenham to catch the end of their annual Scarecrow weekend. Usually good for a laugh and everyone welcome to tag along.

If the Rover is back on the road Alan i'll gladly take the TVR for you , might pop over to this, think i'm going to be free.
Nice of you to offer! However, the Rover needs the gearbox picking up from Romford area on Wednesday/Thursday and re-installing and then MOTing so its looking more & more unlikely at the moment. Thanks anyway!
We're aiming to start at 10am, with the prizes being dished out at 4pm. This is flexible though, we won't turn anyone away
Plenty of motorsport goodies to auction off from BTCC and LeMans as well as other bits.
RML MG-Lola LeMans car will be on site as well as the MG ZT X-Power 500 (Supercharged V8) with the MGOC.
Raffle tickets will also be available to win a hot-air balloon ride with Virgin as first prize.
All money from the day goes to the Make-A-Wish foundation, with 2 wish children joining us again this year to pick the car of the show!
It would be good to see the P5s out again, they were very popular!
