Trading Post - tonight? (15 Aug)

Been on here a long while but only just found this regional section.. how foolish of me! Where exactly is this trading post you mention and what time are you intending to meet if you do? (I'm coming from Sywell)
I am having withdrawal symptoms because my 944 has been in the garage so long and it was a wet le-mans this year! Need to chat cars with some like minded individuals to make me feel better!
I should be able to drag along another pher if we make it. If not we will see you at a meeting in the near future no doubt.

It's in Kettering, right on the A14 J8 roundabout, can't miss it and peeps usually appear 7.30 onwards for a drink and a natter...says he having not been for months

I'll be there about 8.00 but due to weather it'll probably be in the boringmobile.
Dead easy from Sywell, : Head towards Kettering on the A43 straight across the A14 Roundabout and then do a Right next roundabout and then next right and next right into the car park!
Believe Justin is heading over tonight as well with Dolf so should be a few of us.

Spooky. Having been to a fair few 944 gatherings in my 5 years of 944 ownership I've never met another Ben? will be interested to meet another unless it turns out also to be me and you knew me from somewhereBut we've already got a "Ben with a 944"
Hmmmm how foolish of me. Next time better planning required! I turned up with friend in a couple of golfs but soon realised that due to weather anyone who turned up would be in mundane cars so no burbling tvr's as a giveaway. Stayed from about 7.15 to 8.15 and generally tried to look for suspicious chaps talking cars but hey at least I know where the pub is now. Maybe next time.
Plus an engine builder... with a 944... in Northampton! Wish I knew about this a while back!

p.s. Does anyone know of a Black Supra around Kettering with lots of tuners logo's on the back. Saw it the other day on that roundabout and followed it for a short stretch down the A14. It sounded very nice and provided an entertaining firework display every time it changed gear, I was curious to know what had been done to it?

LMAO another member of barry boys I take it. I have a profile but never really used the site much. We were actually laughing that even though the supra was chattering off its rev limiter it couldn't pull away from my 1.9 tdi golf I was in at the time! Didn't want to mention that fact incase it was someone here. ...did sound good though.
As for next week I will stick a note in my diary. Should be able to make it. What cars were you driving? We were in a red mk2 golf and a black mk4 golf. Most likely be the same next week.
