i have an itch to change cars again. Seems i'm on an 18 month cycle at the moment. Top of the current wish list is a T350 and i just wondered if we have any local Northants members that wouldn't mind me nosing around there car sometime (possible passenger ride etc.) I'll double post in the TVR forum as well.

Please get in touch if your able to support this or if you have any other good suggestions to replace the exige with.

Cheers,

Si

PS. Good to meet some of you guys on recent recent Northants run again wink

Simon, so you are considering coming over to the dark side.

T350 - Nice choice!

I can't say I have seen any around the Harborough area. Best bet it to attend the owners club meet. In fact you should contact Dennis Homer the Northants RO: details here: http://www.tvr-car-club.co.uk/regions/uk-east.asp#

Dennis will be able to put you in touch with a 350 owner and TVR owners love to show off their cars! smile

Beaten to it wink

I have been the owner of a T350 for a whole month now! I live in Milton Keynes but am willing to take a trip to see you over in MH. I am always looking for an excuse to drive it and very willing to let you have passenger ride etc..

or if you have any questions just ask away smile

tyre tread / central thanks for the tips.

Marty G, thanks for the offer. If you fancy a run out to Market Harborough that would be great or i could come across to MK if it makes is easier for you.

I'd like to confirm if i'd enjoy both the driving (from the passenger seat in this case wink ) and owning experience, and maybe get an idea of the running costs. If i was to get one i would sell both the exige and westfield and probably have a budget of around £35k which would need to buy a shed for work and the toy.

Is it your everyday car or a weekend toy? I guess as its the first month of ownership your driving it everywhere anyway wink Where did you get your car from? Private/dealer etc. Have you got a good warranty or are the horror stories ott.

Lots of people tried to put me off of owning a lotus because of the lots of trouble usually serious stories and if i'm honest i've not had a problem with the 2 that i've owned.

Let me know when you'd have some time and we can sort something out. I could return the favour with a drive out in the exige and/or westfield etc.

Snowed under with work today but just taken a few minutes lunch.

I will be bringing the car to the pub meet (as long as it's not torrential rain).

Will sort something out with simon sometime soon.

I'm happy to discuss the Tuscan as well if you want to diversify slightly ? I don't know what the urgency is but I am away from next Wednesday till the 4th but am sure we can slot something in before or after.

Not sure that a cerb would get over the bump on my drive but otherwise i'd be interested. Maybe i'll have to get you to try and get yours in my garage if your ever passing through mh.

There is no urgency other than money burning a hole and an itch for a change. Sounds like i should get along to the next sunday at sywell and have nose round and a passenger ride?

I was on the run this sunday but it was difficult to know who owns which cars! Good fun though.

Martin: Thanks for the offer and i've just emailed you.

No problem Simon.

I can't decide if i liked those twisty roads better driving my car or being a passenger in the exige, both were extremely enjoyable!
