Nurses mum would like a run to the seaside this weekend if the weather is bearable.
So.....

Which is the quickest to get too? Skeggy nearest but takes forever as does Hunstanton.

Answers please.........

Southend is 113 miles

Is Southwold too far? Probably for the best,

'Nervy'll only be there to spoil it anyway

Sarfend is not really the seaside, you look across to Kent.

It is an amusing place, not a high class entertainment venue.
Lots of chavs showing their cars in the evenings at weekends.
Lots of old ladies wandering about during the weekdays.
Busy full of families at weekends, when parking can be near impossible when the sun shines.

Scrummy fresh doughnuts at the three shells.

Hunstanton is a good place to go.

Useless fact: Weedon (nearish to daventry)is the place in the England furthest from the sea

Disclaimer: so someone once told me!

Meriden is centre of England I think, I'm not entirely sure whether that also means its furthest from the sea - I don't think it does scratchchin

But if it wasn`t the centre, then shirley it would be nearer to the sea than somewhere else? Or would it?

Nah that was at Newton near Geddington and at triangular lodge near Desboghorror.

But it's rubbish! Took Harry a while back.
Must be somewhere nice within 3 hours which is the average time to Skeg / Hunny.

Went to Whitby a few weeks back and it was quicker!
