We had a great time even though it rivalled 2001 for crap weather!
Shame to have the Elise for the first Le Mans and yet suffer so much rain. The roof stood up to it well though, testimony to the design of the short roof as it was the most testing of weather!
REALLY suffered with luggage space though, we ended up leaving the tent there as the extra space required for the wet clothing left us stuck! Plus it was soaking wet and couldn't be bothered swamping around packing it up into the bag!
Hi to everyone who waved/took photos or tried to convey that they too owned a Lotus in their drunken state, especially in Arnage on Friday night! One guy ran out infront of me pointing to the SELOC logo on his jacket! Yeah, it would look great plastered on my bonnet!
Time for a quick spruce up at the Crocojet before the Parade on Friday!
After the Police closed off Arnage corner on Friday eve we had to pick another famous village name for the photos!
No where for that tent to go! Check out that standing water to the left!
Many a famous car passed under that bridge!
Finally hit Calais after countless hold ups! It was a 14 hour trip door to door! Worth every minute though! Roll on next year!
