You've seen the name, you've seen the sweatshirts, you've seen the beer bellies but why do Mrs Beer and I promote the Sporting Bears
This is why :-
Photos of our latest cheque presentation to the competition winning athletes of Lings Forum Gym Club who all have Downs Syndrome
The money was used to buy badly needed equipment after the scare of their facilities being closed down
The non-professional photo
You can see how Wayne in his V8 Westie feels about helping
And Mark too
Mrs Beer replys to criticism to the standard of her dress for the day

Sad state of affairs when kids faces have to be blurred. What the hell is this world coming too.
Well done by the way.

Thanks James, you'll be helping Cancer Research UK (children's research section) and other charities at Kimbolton
Just downloaded to join sporting bears and the dream rides form. Not sure if I will get any interest in the Skyline at Kimbolton, why would you want a go in a Skyline when you can ride in a Lambo or Ferrari?
Answer: because a Skyline will kick a supercars arse.
I'd much rather go in a Skyline than a supercar!
I'd like to own one, one day. I've got more respect for someone that'll go out & choose a Skyline as their car, keep & maintain it & drive it regularly than someone who buys a Ferrari/Lambo, keeps it hidden, rarely drives it & maybe went for that car as a "badge" - there are obviously big exceptions to this rule - but I think you get what I'm saying....I hope.

Now James, do you drive your Skyline regularly ?
Most memorable cars I've been a passenger in so far have been Noble M400 driven by the most serine test drive and a Dave Whitehurst DWR Shelby Signiture Cobra (unfortunately not driven by Dave himself)
That's not to say I didn't enjoy all the rides, except maybe the Marcos driven very fast by a motorcycle cop (they're always drive very fast)

Yes its driven regularly. Hopefully somebody will fancy a go in it and I can raise some money for you guys. If not I guess I will just have to pay to drive it home and raise the money that way. Its in the garage (menders) at the moment as the gearbox is a bit mullered. Hoping to get it back in a week or so no doubt a few quid poorer.
Naughty Magpie, I know what you are saying I think, car enthusiast / Poser. But trust me If I could afford a Ferrari the Skyline would be in the classifieds!!!!!! they can't be much dearer to run.
